• Improving performance on slower machines
If the Pretty Things tools feel sluggish it is possible to draw with a system cursor instead. Press Ctrl + T (Cmd + T on a Mac) to go to Teacher Options. Select the Normal pointer option within the Preferences panel and then click the back button to return to the program.

• Images are slow to update
If images are slow to update press Ctrl + G or Cmd + G on a Mac to reduce graphics quality. This will help performance on slower machines. Press Ctrl + G or Cmd + G on a Mac again to restore graphics quality.
• Using Images in other applications
Pretty Things saves images in png format. If you wish to use your images in another program you may need to add the .png extension to your filename.
• Displaying full screen on a Mac
If Pretty Things opens in a window with a title bar along the top press Cmd + F to display at full screen.
• Overwriting image files on a Mac
When running on a Mac Pretty Things will not save over existing images. Please give all saved files a unique file name.
